DMCA & Intellectual Property Policy

Last Updated: August 2026

At Wesdawg (accessible via https://wesdawg.com), we respect the creative work behind every photograph, design, and piece of writing, ours and everyone else's.

This policy explains who owns the content on our website, how we handle intellectual property concerns, and how to file a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) if you believe something on our site infringes rights you hold.

Valid notices are reviewed and acted on promptly. If you are not sure whether your concern qualifies, email us at support@wesdawg.com and we will point you in the right direction.

Ownership of Site Content

All content on https://wesdawg.com, including text, product descriptions, photographs, graphics, logos, and site design, is the property of Wesdawg or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. It may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without prior written consent.

Using Our Content for Personal Reference

You are welcome to view, save, and share links to our pages for personal, non-commercial use, such as keeping a product page open while you decide or sending it to a friend. Anything beyond that, including republishing or commercial use, needs our written permission first.

Respect for Third-Party Intellectual Property

We take care that the products and content offered on our site do not infringe the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe any content on our website infringes a copyright or trademark you own or represent, we genuinely want to hear from you, and valid notices are acted on quickly.

Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice

To submit a notice of claimed infringement, email support@wesdawg.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice" and include all of the following:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • Identification of the material on our site you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (a URL is ideal)
  • Your name, mailing address, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

What Happens Next

We review every complete notice, remove or disable access to the identified material where appropriate, and reply to let you know what was done. If a notice is missing something, we tell you what, rather than quietly setting it aside.

Counter-Notice Process

If material you posted or supplied was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to support@wesdawg.com. A counter-notice must include identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error, your name, address, and email, your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, and your physical or electronic signature. We forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant as the law provides.

Misrepresentation

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Honest notices protect everyone; false ones carry real consequences.

Repeat Infringers

Where we determine that a party has repeatedly infringed the intellectual property rights of others, we take appropriate action, which may include removing associated content or listings and refusing future business.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated date.
